Open call: Mohn Prize 2024

UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Academia Borealis - The Academy of Sciences and Letters of Northern Norway, and Tromsø Research Foundation welcome nominations for The International Mohn Prize for Outstanding Research Related to the Arctic (The Mohn Prize).

The Journal assocated with the Institute of Arctic and Alpine research (INSTAAR) at the University of Colorado, Boulder – the Journal of Arctic, Antarctic and Alpine Research released a special issue focusing on Ecosystem Services, Sustainable Development, and Socio-Ecological Health in Arctic and Cold Region Environments.

UArctic is searching for motivated and enthusiastic interns for the fall 2023 who are interested in Arctic matters and willing to acquire knowledge of the Northern region: its environment, people and culture.

The Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in permafrost modeling. This fixed-term, three-year position will be located in Fairbanks, Alaska.
