The UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Law and the UArctic Chair in Arctic Legal Research and Education are pleased to announce the call for papers for the 10th Volume of the Current Developments in Arctic Law (2022). The Volume of the CDAL will include a special theme – Arctic governance: crafting a new normal?






The workshop brings together 20 exceptional Indigenous youth leaders from across the Circumpolar North to share knowledge and experiences, build competence and confidence for leadership, and provide youth with important skills to support the needs and interests of their communities. Arctic Horizon Scan 2022

The Oxford University Polar Forum, is are organising the Arctic Horizon Scan 2022, a collaborative effort to identify research priorities for the Arctic that will be important over the next decade.

The webpages have now been published for the four new Thematic Networks, which were approved by the UArctic Assembly in the meeting held on 1-3 June, 2022 in Portland, Maine.   


The Korea Arctic Academy, hosted by the Korean Ministry of Oceans & Fisheries and co-organized by the Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) and University of the Arctic (UArctic), is an initiative to facilitate exchanges between students from both the Arctic region and Korea in order to develop and share a common Arctic vision.
