The session, titled "Adaptive Capacity of Workplace in the Changing Arctic," took place on June 1st, 2024 in Bodø, Norway. The session featured state-of-the-art research on the current and planned preparedness and practices of Arctic workplaces, considering climate change, harsh weather, remoteness, and vulnerabilities. 

Organizers announce an extended deadline for session proposals for the International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP) IV Summit. The ICARP IV will take place 25-28 March 2024 in Boulder, Colorado, immediately following the Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) meeting (20-24 March 2024).

The doctoral research of Joel Vikberg Wernström, UiT the Arctic University of Norway, is focused on the ecology of Arctic meiofauna, small animals which live between sediment grains.
