The UArctic Rectors' Meeting 2024 held during the Arctic Congress 2024 on 1st June in Bodø, Norway, brought together UArctic member institution leadership, high-level representatives from Arctic states as well as indigenous people’s organizations to discuss collaboration among academic institutions.








Researchers involved in UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Marine Biodiversity, and the Nansen Legacy project have identified the first-ever loriciferan in Norwegian waters. This find was made in the Barents Sea at coordinates 81.53N and 30.96E, at a depth of 806 meters.




The exhibition "New Genre Arctic Art and Art Education" was hosted at the Stormen Concert Hall from May 28 to June 1, in collaboration with the UArctic Thematic Networks on Arctic Sustainable Art and Design (ASAD) and Children of Arctic.
