The Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC) announces their upcoming Public Webinar Series on Seascape Alaska. This webinar will take place 12 October 2023, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.



The University of Glasgow has been selected as the new European hub of XPRIZE, the world’s leader in designing and operating incentive competitions to solve humanity’s greatest challenges.


A new publication with substantial input from CHARTER researchers has landed which is a pilot study on the reindeer impact on soil carbon storage which revealed that animal impacts are very different for permafrost and non-permafrost areas but that they facilitate more productive vegetation.

The International Arctic Science Committee (IASC), in cooperation with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS), is launching its IASC Fellowships Program 2024.








Through the Fellowship, the International Science Council seeks individuals to help plug important skills gaps by acting as experts or advisers for ISC projects, programmes, and collaborations.
