The Call for Abstracts submission portal for the Arctic Congress Bodø 2024 is now open at www.arcticcongress.com/call-for-abstracts. The abstract submission deadline is 5th January 2024 at 1700 CET.

U.S. Geological Survey Alaska Regional Office invites applications for a Tribal Liaison and Outreach Coordinator. This full-time, permanent position may be located in Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Juneau, Alaska.

The first scoping seminar for the program brought together more than 25 participants to outline potential research and collaboration areas. The seminar was the first step in implementing a new collaboration between UArctic and Lloyd’s Register Foundation Heritage and Education Centre.

A sustainable tourism project focused on connecting residents from and visitors to Ardgour and Lapland is one of nine rural heritage projects set to receive funding from the Scottish Government as part of the third annual round of the Arctic Connections Fund.
