UiT- Arctic Unversity of Norway is holding a conference on Indigenous peoples and national minorities in teacher education: perspectives from research and teaching. The conference aims to bring researchers and educators together, who are involved in indigenous peoples and national minorities in teacher education. The conference wants to contribute an academic debate on challenges and opportunities related to indigenous peoples throughout the educational pathway for teacher education from kindergarden to upper secondary school.
Participation fee is: 1000 NOK and Conference dinner is: 500 NOK
The registration deadline is 1st of November.
Joint dialogue
The conference aims to facilitate dialogue, reflection and discussion, and therefore ask the participants to indicate questions or topics they would like to include during the conference. It is a possibility to propose and choose the topic for group discussions in the registration form, and the organizers will facilitate joint discussions during the conference days.
