The conference aims to share the latest expertise and experiences in paleolimnology, to offer training workshops to young scientists, Ph.D., BSc, and MSc students, to determine the prospects for paleolimnological research, and to work out plans for further studies.
Main directions of the conference:
1.Paleoclimatic and paleoecological reconstructions based on the study of bottomsediments of lakes and peat-bogs.
2.Reconstructions of the levels of lakes and seas, the movement of their coastline, theevolution of the coasts.
3.Transformations of paleobasins and hydrographic systems.
4.Human and lake ecosystems (geoarchaeology and paleolimnology).
5.Impact of climatic and environmental changes on ecosystem services of NorthernEurasian lakes
