A two-day international conference on talents acquisition to the Arctic began its work on November 15, 2021 at Northern (Arctic) Federal University in Arkhangelsk, Russia. The event is a part of the Russian chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023.


The Rovaniemi Arctic Spirit Conference 2021 has now begun and will go on for two days: 16-17 November. The topic of the conference is: A common Arctic or contested spaces? Perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of the Barents and Arctic cooperation. 







The Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. (ARCUS) announces a call for nominations for our Board of Directors election. There are four seats up for election in a vote of the ARCUS Membership Council that will take place in December. Terms will be three years and begin in January 2022.
