While the TN does include research collaborations, it also hosts a range of in-person and online/ virtual activities, including the Graduate Student Seminar Series, the Speaker Series (co-delivered with the Northern Students’ Association, University of Alberta, Canada). The network holds panel sessions and workshops in conjunction with northern conferences (e.g. Arctic Congress, ASSW), and support development of educational activities, including the Massive Open Online Course Arctic Development (Community Planning and Resilience), and Live It Earth’s Arctic Communities (programming for grades K-12 across Canada).
