The conference theme is “Elements of Arctic Security,” which explores security in the Arctic from multiple perspectives. Security in the Arctic encompasses issues related to human, environmental, and climate security, as well as traditional state security. Recent geopolitical shifts only emphasize the need for a holistic understanding of these interconnected dimensions in the Arctic region.
The first day of the conference at the Korundi House of Culture will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions. On the second day, at the Arktikum House, there will be a range of scientific and thematic sessions.
