During the last eight years foreign students studying in Norway has doubled its numbers. Natalia Aleksandrovna Shavrina is one of them.

In Sweden, Norway and Finland - studying is free.  But even though classes, exams and reading may be free- there are expenses with being a student. One has to pay for study equipments, food, and of course a roof over ones head. But how does one finance it.

A change in practice recently made by Kela, the social security institution of Finland, results in better housing benefits for students.
