GoNorth Guidelines and Principles
GoNorth Guidelines
GoNorth Program is a UArctic joint marketing and recruitemnt program promoting UArctic institutions as leaders of northern curricula in higher education worldwide; the best way to learn about the North is GoNorth. It promotes broader knowledge of the North, its people and the issues they face to the world's future leaders, particularly in the context of social and environmental changes and economic globalization. GoNorth promotes establishment of meeting places and networks between students from the south and students of the circumpolar world.
The program seeks to generate increased student mobility, including one-way and bilateral exchanges, degree seeking students and freemovers. The program does not prevent mobility agreements between institutions.
As such, GoNOrth Program will not have a centralised application process. Instead, students will identify study programs and courses through
UArctic Studies Catalog
, but apply to the insitution they wish to study at.
