Outgoing Board Members, Scherr and Greenshaw recognised at meeting

UArctic’s Board of Governors recently recognised two outgoing Board members Dr Barry Scherr from Dartmouth College (Board Chair 2009-2013) and Dr Andrew Greenshaw from the University of Alberta (Board Vice- chair 2007-2011). Elected to the Board in June 2007, both members will be ending their final term on the Board this coming June.

UArctic Board of Governors

The Board of Governors is the highest governing body of the UArctic, and has general responsibility for its strategic development and for setting its main priorities.

The Board of Governors consists of a group of individuals, not less than five (5), and ¬not to exceed eleven (11), who serve in their personal capacities and who act on behalf of the UArctic. Members of the Board serve three-year terms, and these terms are renewable once
