Learning Resources

In addition to the wealth of course material in the Circumpolar Studies program, students can also make use of additional learning resources to support their studies.

The Arctic Atlas emphasizes the Arctic regions in a visual geographic form. The different themes that the Atlas focuses upon are education, socio-economics, peoples and cultures, ecosystems: flora and fauna, environment and climate systems, this is a great tool that can be used for researchers, students or anyone else interested in the demographics of different northern areas.

The work of the University of the Arctic is made possible through cooperation with a vast number of other organizations and networks throughout the Arctic region that focus on nearly everything from environment, to climate change, to social justice priorities in the northern regions. UArctic has collected a collection of
links to some of the most relevant and important of these organizations.
