Because some members report student numbers as total students, and some in terms of full-time equivalents, these figures were both considered to create rough equivalents of total student size. In the accompanying map, Large institutions (in orange) have about 10,000 or more students, Medium-sized institutions (in yellow) have between 3,000 and 10,000 and Small institutions (in green) have less than 3,000 students. Other member organizations and institutions (other than higher education institutions are indicated with blue dots). Institutions for which no data is available are indicated with red dots.
